It publishes journals and books, operates platforms such as ScienceDirect and Scopus, and develops tools for research metrics, content mining, literature analysis, reference and citation tracking, decision support, and knowledge extraction, such as LeapSpace, Reaxys, and Scival.
Role within AIRIS
Elsevier provides literature mining, knowledge extraction, content analytics; Will offer access to its literature database to NLP researchers; supports WP1 (literature‐based mechanism discovery, bibliometrics), WP3 (hypothesis validation), aids dissemination via its platforms. Elsevier will also support the sustainability and exploitation of the project’s results, with possible adoption of AIRIS outcomes to its commercial products.
